FAQ

Do you have a store or somewhere to buy things in the studio?

We currently do not have a storefront at Broad Studios. The best way to shop goods from our resident artists would be to visit each of their websites to view the goods in stock OR email us to set up an appointment to come purchase something directly from the space! The only time we sell goods publicly and directly out of the Broad Studios is during East Austin Studio Tour or any other pop-up markets hosted in our space.

How can I teach a workshop at Broad Studios?

Submit a form here! We all teach workshops in our space, but most of our workshop calendar is filled with guest instructors! We are currently focusing on craft-based workshops at the moment but are open to expanding that category in the future. If you would like more information before submitting a form, feel free to contact us here.

Does Broad Studios host private events?

We do! Most of our private events have been workshops, small mixers, and panel discussions. We encourage anyone who would like to host a private event in our space to visit first to see if it's a good fit for your event. If you would like to submit a request for a private workshop, feel free to fill out this form!

What are your hours? Can I come visit?

On any average day, Broad Studios is a closed working space. The six of us hustle hard to run our businesses out of this studio and it is where we throw in our headphones and crank out orders, prepare for craft fairs and sometimes we do that barefoot and in sweatpants. That said, we love visitors, but we love it even more when we know you're coming! Shoot us an email if you want to swing by. We will happily show you around. Otherwise, we open our doors to the public during East Austin Studio Tour each November and would love to see you then.

Do you have room for any more resident artists?

Unfortunately, not at this time! Our space is a comfortable fit for the six of us, but we *did* magically find one of our residents on Craigslist, so there is hope if you're on the search!

I signed up for a workshop at Broad Studios. What can I expect?

All materials are provided by the instructor in our workshops, but you are more than welcome to bring your own additional supplies if you'd like. Doors open 10 minutes before class and close 15 minutes after the class start time. We provide drinks and light bites for all workshops because they all usually last around 1-4 hours and golly I don't know about you, but we can only go like 45 minutes without snacks.

Where can I park?

There are plenty of free parking spaces in the Springdale General complex that are within walking distance to our front door!

I bought a ticket to a workshop but something came up and I can't make it! Help?!

A refund is available up to 24 hours prior to any workshop via Eventbrite. If that window has closed, you have 7 days to claim the value of your ticket towards a future Broad Studios workshop of your choosing. Stuff happens, we get it. Email us and we'll get it sorted out!

Hmm..."a female artist collective"...are only females allowed?
